Don't want this to happen to us!We’re really sorry to do this so close to the event! The new date is Sunday Sunday Sunday June 7, 2015. We will definitely make sure as the day approaches y’all get the information.

Please help us and let your neighbors know about this in case they don’t see this notice (which will also be posted as an email, on NextDoor and on Facebook).

2015 Block Party set for Sunday April 26 POSTPONED ’till June 7

Our Spring Block Party is coming up in April. This year we’ll be at Adams/Filmore and will gather on Sunday, April 26, so please save the date!

This family-friendly event will from 2 to 8 pm and we’ll have another dessert contest as well as good food and drink, music and children’s activities. Please visit the Glenwood Brooklyn donate page to submit yearly dues to help make this event a success (please consider $20/adult, $50/family).

Live music, food, children’s activities and more!  Please bring a dessert or side dish to share.

  • This year the block party will be a low-waste event.  Please bring your own beverage glass and your own plate and utensils.  
  • Participate in the dessert contest!  Bring your dessert by the info table to collect a number and enjoy a prize for the best dessert.  Good luck!

Spring Block Party April 27

Please join us Saturday, April 27 from 3 pm to dark for our annual Spring Block Party at Adams Street and Filmore Street.

Live music by Backfence playing oldies and karaoke.

Pig pickin’, local beer, beverages, door prizes, children’s activities and more.  Please bring a side dish or dessert, and a lounge chair to enjoy the festivities.

Yearly dues of $10 per resident are accepted but not required for attendance.  See you there!
